Successful realization of the Maratschbach hydropower plant

The new Maratschbach power plant in the Pflersch Valley was put into operation in summer 2023 following the finalization of the construction and installation work.

The diversion power plant draws its motive water from two streams in the Pflersch Valley via pipelines. As these pipes have to withstand both the high pressures and the challenges of the steep, rocky environment, the decision was made to use ZMU-coated TRM DN 400 pipes with a VRS®-T joint.

Thanks to the excellent cooperation between the individual project members, the project was successfully completed in June 2023.
