The Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH is expanding its site in the Salzburg Pongau, with a new coating hall designed to meet increasing production demands. This challenging construction project faced complex soil conditions, ranging from low-bearing fills and silty fine sands to load-bearing gravels.
To establish a stable and long-lasting foundation, the Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH chose TRM Piling Systems. Approximately 500 ductile driven piles of type TRM 118 were installed to reliably transfer the loads into deeper, load-bearing soil layers. The grouted piles allowed flexible adaptation to the heterogeneous soil conditions while ensuring a clear structural separation between the existing and new construction.
This project highlights TRM’s technical expertise and efficiency in delivering solutions for complex foundation challenges. Completion is scheduled for autumn 2025.
