Cycle path bridges from Vrhnika to Ljubljana, Slovenia
In order to extend the public cycle paths between Vrhnika and Ljubljana, cycle bridges are needed over various waterways. Piles were used for the foundations of the multi-phase project.
Due to their versatility and flexibility in difficult underlying rock conditions, non-grouted piles TRM 170/9.0 and TRM 118/9.0 from the TRM Piling System were chosen. Different pile depths of up to 15 m were used.
These were tested by SLP d.o.o. by means of a dynamic pile test load, with out-standing results far above the requirements. The installation of the piles and the construction of the bridge were carried out by Garnol d.o.o.
