Piling System

Dornbirn

New elementary school Edlach in Dornbirn

The city of Dornbirn is building a complete 3-storey new building of the classroom with a basement. The soil explorations showed a 3-unit layer sequence from bedding over sludge up to a gravel-sand-silt sequence. The founding proposal was auger pile or "ductile pile mantle pressed". The TRM ductile iron pile was able to u.a. enforce due to different pile heights and limited space.

The thinness of the system required a buckling proof of security, which was successfully passed. The piles tie four meters in the load-bearing soil layer, and the negative skin friction in the landfill had no significant impact on the required service life.

Fast. Simple. Safe.
