Construction of a new component warehouse, Holýšov (Czech Republic)
Due to increased production requirements at the bus plant in Holýšov, a new component warehouse was constructed to ensure uninterrupted production processes. The building foundation posed particular challenges in terms of flexibility, as the piles had to be installed in close proximity to the existing structure.
For the foundation works, 36 ductile driven piles of the type TRM 118 with a wall thickness of 9.0 mm were used. The piles were driven down to bedrock level and installed with TRM 118 rock shoes without grouting, thereby ensuring reliable load transfer.
The total length of the piles amounted to 277 meters, and installation was completed within a single day. The pile foundation was designed by SLP d.o.o. and executed in close coordination with the local specialist Menard, enabling the works to be carried out smoothly even in close proximity to the existing building.
The project demonstrates the versatility of the TRM ductile driven pile system, particularly in confined spaces and demanding industrial construction projects where precise and reliable foundation solutions are required.
