In the city of Brasov, which has a population of 250,000, in the heart of Romania, parts of the existing water supply network needs to be replaced. The good reputation of Tiroler Rohre GmbH was the decisive factor for commissioning this project. In total, nearly 3,500 meters of pipes will be newly installed here.
The classic TYTON connection as well as restrained VRS®-T connection in nominal sizes from DN 400 to DN 700 are used. As a manufacturer of high-quality ductile iron products, the traditional Tyrolean company can score points above all, because in ductile iron pipes there is no plastic included.
