SkiWelt Brixen im Thale prepares for the future

The SkiWelt Brixen im Thale started a construction project in July 2018 in preparation for the planned construction of the new Zinsberg railway in the coming year. The measure includes the laying of the route of the old snow line. As part of this route laying an enlargement of the tube dimensions of the existing snowmaking line is also carried out immediately. At a length of almost 1,000 meters, ductile iron pipes made by Tiroler Rohre GmbH (TRM) in nominal sizes DN 80, 250 and 300 are processed. The special feature of this project is the remarkably careful laying of the new pipes. Under the guidance of the experienced snowmaker, all the snow lines are brought into the earth by employees of the SkiWelt Brixen im Thale and the work is done on their own.

The tried-and-tested VRS®-T connection system of TRM's ductile iron pipes significantly simplified laying work. In addition, the system guarantees maximum safety when operating the snowmaking systems - even at high pressures. The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world. Nine direct access routes with more than 284 perfectly groomed slopes as well as 21 downhill runs await the guests.

Safe water supply.
