Major Project 2025 at the Gerlos Ski Lift Center – with TRM Pipeline Systems
In 2025, the Gerlos Ski Lift Center will undertake its largest construction project to date, in collaboration with TRM. The focus is on two new storage ponds, high-performance pumping technology, and extensive pipeline work to optimize the snowmaking infrastructure.
The two ponds at the Ebenfeld site include:
- Ebenfeld 1: Renovation and expansion to 30,000 m³
- Ebenfeld 2: New construction with a capacity of 120,000 m³
TRM is supplying all pond pipelines, including a discharge line for emergency drainage. In addition, field pipelines and connecting lines to other pumping stations will be installed. A key feature of the project is the new pumping station, delivering over 1,000 l/s – one of the largest in the region. The TRM scope of supply includes approximately 9.4 km of pipelines, amounting to around 625 tons of pipes and fittings. Part of the construction work is expected to be completed in 2026.
