Seefeld was nominated for the fourth time in 2014 as the venue for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. We are pleased to make our contribution to this major event and delivered approx. 3,300 linear meters of ductile iron pipes in nominal widths of DN 80, DN 200, DN 250 and DN 400.
This construction project will be completed in the coming months to offer the athletes a taste of the 2019 World Cup at the upcoming sporting events such as the FIS race, the Kaiser Maximilian run, the Austrian championship and the "VOR World Cup".
In order to complete everything on time, the construction work for the conversion and expansion of the snow-making infrastructure began in June.
Particularly impressive here is the construction of a new snowmaking pond on the Gschwandkopf. This additional pond allows complete snowmaking of the entire cross-country trail by means of the filling, extraction and pond pipes supplied by us.
