From the middle of 2015, Stubenbach GmbH will build a power plant in Stuben (amount of extraction water 420 l / s, 676 kW bottleneck capacity, 2.2 GWh standard working capacity).
The customer chose a 1,800 m long DN 500 cast iron pipe from TRM. It can also be quickly and safely installed in the upper section of the line in extremely steep and rocky terrain thanks to the unique VRS®-T connection.
The majority of the pipeline runs in open ground, where up to 70 m of laying per day can be realized for the project. Decisive for this is the close cooperation between customer, construction company, planner and the TRM field service.
With this project, TRM is again supplying a high quality cast iron pipe system for use as a turbine pipe.
