TRM buys Bavarian fittings producer FRISCHHUT

The Tiroler Rohre GmbH (TRM) takes over the Bavarian producer of fittings FRISCHHUT on 01 July 2022. The company takeover sets the course for the future as a European full-service provider.

In 2013, the Tyrolean location of a large European casting group was to be closed after turbulent years and several changes of ownership. The economic future of the "Tiroler Röhrenwerke", founded in 1947, was no longer viable. A management buy-out by the Kloger family saved the company from closure, saved about 200 jobs and put it back on the road to success as a family business under the new name "Tiroler Rohre GmbH - TRM". Through trust in the employees and investments in the Hall location, TRM was able to increase its turnover by over 70% and post positive figures within just under 10 years.

The company FRISCHHUT with its approx. 150 employees at the locations in Neumarkt-St. Veit and Pfarrkirchen has been producing moulded parts as well as special castings for machine and plant construction since 1945 and will in future complement TRM's range of services.

TRM managing director and owner DI Max Kloger explains: "By combining FRISCHHUT and TRM, we have taken another strategic step towards growth and the future. In addition to pipes and piles, the entire product range can be offered as a system in the future, ensuring security of supply in this critical segment."

Max Kloger continues "The knowledge of both companies about the development, production and marketing of fittings, pipes and piles, which has been hard-earned over decades, the very similar cultures of Tyrol and Bavaria, the very hard-working and motivated employees are the best breeding ground for a long-term good development of both companies. This is also the guarantee for secure and attractive jobs! Due to the constant growth, we are constantly looking to strengthen our team."
