Foundation stone ceremony at Istog

On March 4 th, 2020, the ceremony for laying the foundation stone for the long-awaited and important project "Water supply for the eastern area of the municipality of Istog" (Greater Mbivada) was held in Istog, in the Republic of Kosovo. Tiroler Rohr GmbH will supply pipes with a restrained locking system for a pipeline over 45 kilometers. Pipes in nominal widths DN100 to DN300 are installed. In order to ensure the water flow, two pumping stations are installed along this length and an additional storage pond with a size of 500m³ is created to ensure the supply. The implementation of this project will provide twelve villages in this region with fresh drinking water. The overall planning is the responsibility of the Austrian planning company ÖSTAP. The mayor of Istog, Haki Rugova, representatives of the government of Kosovo as well as representatives of the Austrian company ÖSTAP, Alltene Krasniqi, M. Moskaljov and Andreas Weiler from Tiroler Rohre GmbH were represented at the groundbreaking ceremony.
