High visit to the Tiroler Rohre GmbH

The Norwegian ambassador to Austria, Kjersti Ertresvaag Andersen, visited the Tiroler Rohre GmbH on 04.12.2018 as part of a stay in Tyrol. Managing Director Max Kloger welcomed Ambassador and Honorary Consul Peter Gaugg to the factory at Hall. At the beginning of the winter season, good conversations about the company's high level of expertise in snowmaking could be held during the factory visit. In particular, the achievements in advance to the Olympic Games in Sochi serve as an excellent reference. A demonstration with a 13-ton wheel loader was the highlight of the visit. The construction machine was parked on a rug made of ductile cast iron pipes. The pipes bend under the enormous load and return to their original state after the removal of the weight. This will demonstrate how ductile castings behave under massive loads. "The high visit from Norway is a great honor. I think the great impressions during the time at Tiroler Rohre GmbH will stay with Ambassador Ertresvaag Andersen for a long time," managing director Kloger said after the visit.
