Tiroler Rohre GmbH has been producing snow pipes since 1986. A special feature of the Tyrolean manufacturer is the high product quality. In order to be able to offer its customers the right product for all possible types of soil, the idea of ​​innovation is at the heart of the company. This idea is particularly evident in the example of the Bergbahn Scheffau GmbH. In Scheffau, particularly aggressive soils can be found in some areas. Experience in recent years has shown that standard pipes can have a shorter service life in areas where soil aggressiveness is very high. In order to be able to meet the aggressive soil conditions in the long term, PUR-TOP pipes from Tiroler Rohre GmbH in nominal sizes DN150 and DN250 are now being installed in certain areas. A total of 2500 meters of new snow line will be installed, which can withstand a pressure of up to 100 bar. A sleeve protection is also attached for maximum corrosion protection. The PUR-TOP pipe is characterized by its 200g / m2 zinc coating according to Ö-Norm B2555 and the 400 µm thick top coating made of polyurethane. A PE impact protection tape is also applied. As an alternative to the PUR-TOP pipe, the Hall pipe manufacturer also offers the ZMU-Austria pipe, which is ideal for use in all soil classes, from non-aggressive to very aggressive.
