Occupational medicine visits Tiroler Rohre GmbH

The Austrian Society for Occupational Medicine held its annual meeting in Innsbruck from 19 to 21 September 2019. In the course of this meeting, the occupational physician of Tiroler Rohre GmbH, Dr. med. Werner Schwarz, invites his colleagues to visit the company in Hall. The 22-person group was led by works council Armin Eberl and HR manager Mag. Dietmar Fischer. Many of the occupational physicians who came from all over Austria were in a foundry for the first time of their life and were thus able to get a personal impression of the processes and procedures in such a company. In particular, the demands on the employees in the production interested the medical persons. Personal protective equipment, proper workwear and safety at work, adapted to the various workplaces, were just some of the topics that were asked during the tour and were inquired about. Following the informative tour trough the production, a discussion round was held in one of the meeting rooms. Here questions could be sent to the HR manager, the works council and Dr. Schwarz on the topics of occupational safety and health prevention at the Tiroler Rohre GmbH.
