University of Innsbruck visits Tiroler Rohre GmbH

As part of the Summer Technology Internship MINT 28 interested students visited the Tiroler Rohre GmbH. During an exciting factory tour, the prospective students were able to become some knowledge about the processes in a foundry. The four letters MINT stand for mathematics, computer science and natural sciences and technology. The Summer Technology Internship MINT of the University of Innsbruck offers young women an insight into the scientific and economic activities in the respective field and is complemented by company visits. The participants at the age of 15 to 20 should gain first experiences and be inspired by their choice of study course for one of the MINT subjects. The Summer Technology Internship MINT includes a broad spectrum of subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Technical Sciences (Construction & Environmental Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering) and Geo- & Atmospheric Sciences.
