1947

Foundation of Tiroler Rohre GmbH

In 1947, Tiroler Rohre GmbH was founded by Guido Holzmeister, son of the famous Tyrolean architect Clemens Holzmeister.

1953

Largest annealing furnace in Europe

In 1953, the largest annealing furnace in Europe was put into operation in Hall. The company Mond Nickel & Co has acquired a license for the production of ductile iron.

1955

TYTON connection

In 1955 the TYTON joint was introduced at Tiroler Rohre GmbH. So the pipes could simply be put together and connected. To secure soil here is needed.

1971

Series production of grey cast iron

The series production of spheroidal cast iron pipes (nodular cast iron) begins in the factory in Hall in Tyrol.

1975

Development of VRS-T

The year 1975 represents a milestone for Tiroler Rohre GmbH. The longitudinal and traction-locked VRS-T connection was introduced and has always been a symbol of the company's innovative spirit.

1980

Introduction of spray galvanizing

In the case of spray galvanizing, a zinc layer is applied to the pipe. This system is now fully automatic.

Introduction of ductile piles

The second business unit is the ductile pile. He serves in the foundation engineering of foundations of any kind.

Pipe systems for snow-making systems

Snow-making systems demand a system that withstands high water pressure - Tiroler Rohre GmbH is one of the first manufacturers to be able to supply such a system.

2007

Coating of the fittings in the vortex sintering process

This system makes it possible to coat the fittings even better with powder and thus to protect against corrosion and other influences.

2013

Renamed Tiroler Rohre GmbH

Max and Karin Kloger take over Tiroler Rohre GmbH and lead the company back into profitability.

2017

Environmental Product Declaration Pile

The company's Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) proves the environmental compatibility of its piles.

2019

ZMU-Austria

In 2019, the series production of cement-coated cast iron pipes started. This new tube is the all-rounder of the pipe family from Hall, but it can be installed in all soil classes.

2022

Founding of TRM Swiss AG

TRM Swiss AG is operating as a self-sufficient company on the Swiss market from 1st June 2022. High-quality products from sustainable production in Austria, the experience and motivation of the local employees and the proximity to the customer are to further strengthen the trust in TRM.

Acquisition of Frischhut company

Tiroler Rohre GmbH takes over the Bavarian fittings manufacturer Frischhut on 1 July 2022. The company takeover sets the course for the future as a European full-service provider.
